The programme for the MOU ceremony was planned with a twist to give the otherwise serious and formal event a breath of fresh air, featuring a mini hair-fashion show- ITE Supermodels 2011 and ITE Manhunt, along with performances by CeMTA (Centre for Music and The Arts).

The venue set-up and programme were arranged and put together by the collective efforts of colleagues from the School of Business & Services, School of Engineering- Electrical Technology (Lighting & Sound) course, School of Electronics & Info-Comm Technology- Digital Audio & Video Production course, College Services Division in ITE College East, CeMTA, Corporate Affairs & Development Division in ITE HQ, with strong support from the senior management in ITE HQ, ITE College East, ITE College West and ITE College Central.

The library at ITE College East was transformed into a classy fashion show venue for the MOU ceremony. In ITE Supermodels 2011, Dr Derek Yeo, Ms Felicia Lim and Ms Chong Hai-Yen sportingly did a catwalk to showcase staff and students’ work on their hair and makeup.

ITE Manhunt threw the spotlight on 5 of our male senior management staff by showing the “before” and “after” photos of their hairdos which were designed by staff and students from the Hair Services (Hair Fashion & Design) course. The 5 contenders for ITE Manhunt were: Mr Eden Liew, Mr Tan Seng Hua, Dr Lionel Lau, Dr Derek Yeo and Mr Soh Sze-Wei. It was all good fun and Mr Tan Seng Hua, Principal of ITE College Central walked away with a prize after being voted as the one with the most number of years shaved off in the “after” photo shown.
