On 16 Sep 2010, some 20 guests including Mr. Scott Lofgren, Global Director, BE Careers, Bentley Systems, Incorporated, Mr James Tang, Managing Director of Aceplp.com Pte Ltd, Mr Eden Liew, Principal, College East, Mr Kong Chee Seng, Director of School of Engineering, College East and other representatives from College East and Aceplp.com Pte Ltd were present to mark the MicroStation License Presentation Ceremony held at ITE College East.
Aceplp.com Pte Ltd graciously donated another 40 CAD-MicroStation software licenses with 50 add-on modules to ITE College East for the second time in 3 years for the purpose of training our students.
Training with MicroStation from Bentley Systems, Inc. will provide the latest in computer-aided drafting technology for our students and staff in the area of CAD drafting, design productivity and 3D Design Modeling. To-date, the Mechanical Engineering department has conducted CAD MicroStation as an elective subject for our full-time students and has also developed and conducted customized courses in CAD MicroStation for workers in industry.
In appreciation to Aceplp.com Pte Ltd and Bentley Systems, Inc, a letter and token of appreciation each, was presented to Mr James Tang and Mr Scott Lofgren for their generous support.
