Entrepreneurship Development is one of the 7 Tracks of Student Development available to our students. Through the 3-E Programme, we aim to groom and nurture the students’ entrepreneurial potential through Education, Experimentation and Enterprise. At the College, we have in place structured programmes and the necessary facilities to encourage students to be innovative and creative and maximize their potential.

Fronted by the Student Entrepreneurship Education & Development Centre (SEED) and the Technopreneurship Incubation Centre (TIC), at ITE College East, we aim to inculcate in the students the ability to seek out business opportunities, draw up business plans, set up small business ventures and take calculated risks. Open to students from all disciplines, the programmes developed under the Entrepreneurship Development track will give students who hope to become entrepreneurs a head star in their entrepreneurial journey.

Student Entrepreneurship Education & Development (SEED) Centre
The primary aim of the SEED Centre is to nurture budding entrepreneurs amongst students in the campus. The Centre will provide an environment and facilities for:
  • Incubating small business start-ups initiated by students
  • Creating real business projects which students could participate in
  • Fostering interdisciplinary business projects with participation of students from different schools
  • Facilitating networking and idea sharing amongst student entrepreneurs
  • Serving as the Business Centre to provide administrative and business support to the budding entrepreneurs
Technopreneurship Incubation Centre (TIC)
The TIC serves as a vehicle to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among ITE graduates, staff and students.

TIC organizes seminars, conferences and training programmes related to business management and entrepreneurial development. Technopreneurs will get to work with technical specialists to develop concepts and build prototypes for products with potential for manufacture.
