The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) event was held at ITE College East on 24 July 2012. A group of students from the Higher Nitec in Business Studies (Administration) course organised an event at ITE College East in close collaboration with their external client, the SPCA. This event was part of their in-course assessment requirements to pass the Events Organisation and Publicity module.

The event had several related components. The main event involved Guest Speaker from SPCA who conducted a talk for students at the Amphitheatre and through this, raise awareness about the mission and objectives of SPCA, as well as raise consciousness of animal abuse in Singapore.

The primary role of the event's concert was to draw in the student crowd to attend the talk. It provided talented students with an additional platform to hone their singing or dancing skills, it also provided entertainment for the crowd.
One other objective of the event was to raise funds for SPCA. Students sold candy floss, popcorn and exclusive SPCA merchandise where net proceeds from the sales went to SPCA.
